Did you always dream of running in Kenya? Would you like to see how thousands of Kenyans train very hard day after day, trying to reach the worldtop? Would you also like to feel how it is to train in the middle of a group of Kenyans? Or do you prefer to do your own training sessions in an incredibly inspiring and beautiful environment? Maybe combined with going on a safari? Apart from that, do you want to experience the real Kenya, far away from the tourist centre? That is now possible!

Come to Iten and stay under the guidance of topathletes Hilda Kibet en Hugo van den Broek. We offer you the perfect place to stay: a private guesthouse with an incredible view. From your bed, you are looking right at the Great Rift Valley! More about this guesthouse under 'Accomodation'. While staying at our place, we can assist you when it comes to training, whether alone or with Kenyans. More about that under 'Training'. We also offer help in booking safari's, or daytrips, to places like Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru National park and Rimoi National Park. More about this under 'Safari'.

Iten - home of champions

Iten is the Mekka of the runningworld. Twice a day the roads in and around Iten are filled with hundreds of runners, from beginners to world record holders and Olympic champions. This is the reason Iten is also knows as the 'Home of Champions'. Apart from that, Iten is also an example of the 'real Kenya'. While walking, running or cycling through Iten, you quickly feel one with the Kenyans. No vendors here, that ask you all the time to buy their souvenirs. In Iten it's quite easy to just stroll around the market, get a cup of tea in one of the many small restaurants, or go to the football field and play a game of football with the local Kenyans. And whoever has feeling with education, will definitely enjoy a visit to the local primary school. Interested?
